What You Will Get in This Service

At Bright Behavioral Health, we understand that adolescence is a critical time for developing independence, social awareness, and life skills. Our ABA Therapy Program for Teens (Ages 13–17) is designed to support each individual in building confidence, emotional regulation, communication, and daily living skills—while addressing behavioral challenges in a respectful, age-appropriate way.

Our Approach to Teen ABA

We use a structured, individualized approach that emphasizes practical skills teens need to succeed at home, school, and in the community. Our sessions focus on independence, emotional growth, self-advocacy, and healthy peer interaction. Therapy is built around meaningful goals that align with each teen’s needs and future plans.

What We Offer:

  1. Functional Life Skills Training

Teens work on skills like time management, hygiene routines, cooking, budgeting, and planning. These tasks are taught through ABA methods like task analysis and chaining to promote independence and confidence in real-world situations.

  1. Individualized Behavior Plans

Every teen receives a tailored treatment plan created by a BCBA. We target key areas such as emotional regulation, social boundaries, executive functioning, and replacing problem behaviors with positive alternatives.

  1. Social Communication Development

We help teens improve conversation skills, body language, understanding social cues, and navigating peer relationships. Role-play, video modeling, and group activities are used to build confidence in social settings.

  1. Emotional & Behavioral Support

Our therapists teach self-regulation strategies, coping mechanisms, and safe expression of emotions through evidence-based interventions like behavior skills training (BST) and reinforcement systems.

  1. Parent Collaboration & Teen Empowerment

We offer regular check-ins, progress reports, and parent training sessions to help reinforce progress at home. Teens are encouraged to take ownership of their goals and celebrate achievements along the way.
